Zlatan Ibrahimovic hinted at the reason he would stay at the LA Galaxy while dimming the potential to return to AC Milan.
Ibrahimovic, 37, joined the Galaxy in March after leaving Manchester United. He immediately made a big impact on his debut campaign in Major League Soccer (MLS) by packing 22 goals in 27 appearances.
The veteran bomber and Swedish living legend was later linked to rumors of returning to his old club, Milan in January, with the Italian Serie A club really wanting to overhaul the team’s front line.
However, after Leonardo as Milan’s sporting director began to withdraw from hunting in early December, the issue of Ibrahimovic’s return to the San Siro slowly began to subside.
And, through uploading the video on the Twitter page, Ibrahimovic sent a signal to stay on MLS by saying: “MLZ, I’m not finished with you.”
Regardless of Ibrahimovic’s brilliant individual performance, the achievement of the Galaxy this season was disappointing after only finishing in the MLS final standings in the western region.
